Children's Skis - We all know how quickly our kid's grow and though it may be tempting to buy skis for them to 'grow' into this is not a good idea! Children need to be skiing on equipment that is properly fitted for their size and weight on the day they go. Renting Children's skis is a far better option, the professional ski technicians in the ski shop will ensure they are on the right length. Children's skis are different from adult skis in that they are softer, tend to be easier to make turns on. The are obviously shorter and easier to manage too! When you are choosing children's ski boots make sure they fit snugly with a little room to wiggle the toe. Always do the boots up as this pushes your heel at least a centimetre back into the boot. Teenagers in most resorts ski on adult sizes - yes that's right, you are no longer classed as a kid, what a relief.
