About The Resort..

Arinsal

ARINSAL_RESORTVery British as is all of Andorra, Why? Cheap, Cheap, Cheap. And the new lift systems help. The Brits love it and they love Arinsal in particular. It is a long narrow village undergoing redevelopment. Stay in the middle if you can because the ski gondola leaves from here. Another big plus is the friendliness of the locals.

About The Mountain

Ski Arinsal

Arinsal has an open eastern bowl whereas Pas has the mostly densely wooded slopes in Andorra. Snowfall is good due to its location with the links to Pal (Vallnoid area) there is 89km of pistes and grooming is top notch.

Experts - not our first choice but there is some off piste and because the resort attracts a lot of beginners/intermediates they are not too tracked out.
Intermediates - Pop over to Pal and have a field day. Yes you will definitely enjoy yourselves in this resort

Beginners - around half the guests are beginners so that should give you a clue.

Cross Country - erhhhh what cross country?

Snowboarders - What's the snowboarding like in Arinsal? the park is very good with something for everybody. There are kickers, a spine, fun boxes, rails, quarter pipe and a super pipe. Maybe a few too many drags to contend with on the slopes

Mountain Restuarants

Arinsal Mountain Restaurants

boots up for lunch on the mountainMostly self service, try Panoramix for the sun terrace
And believe it or not you will find Chinese, Mexican, Italian all on the hillside

Reviews

Lovely resort with lots of snow.

By Paul Green on 27/01/2009 12:51:31

Hadn’t been skiing in Andorra before and always intrigued about skiing in a new country…the skiing was great for the beginners and intermediates in our group and Andorra certainly proved to be value for money. Most people there spoke English which was a bonus. The ski runs were well groomed, wide and with many of them being tree-lined which usually makes for pretty spectacular scenery.
