About The Resort..

Fugenn Ski

Fugen is a tiny resort in the Zillertaler region. The slopes are connected to Mayrohofen although it would be useful to have a car to make all the connections. Also read about the resorts Zellam Ziller, Kaltenback, Hippach which are all part of the Zillertal ski region.

The Christmas markets are wonderfully festive and are a highlight for those visiting Fugen at Christmas time. There is plenty of punch and mulled wine to keep you warm, as well as plenty of local goods on sale. Other activities off the slopes include:

About The Mountain

Fugen Ski

Fugen is part of the Zillertal Superski so you can also ski in Finkenberg and perhaps more importantly Mayrhofen. There is also 40km of cross country runs.

Advanced - about 30% of the mountain is classified as advanced

Intermediates - about 50% of the runs so this should be a good resort for you

Beginners - with gentle nursery slopes close to the village it is a good place to start

Snowboarders - There are two snowparks on the Speiljoch and in Hochfugen, In Hochzillertal there is a 110m half pipe, jumps and variety of tables.
